The company, with registered head office located in Getafe, Spain, is engaged in the design and manufacture of air conditioning, ventilation and heating units for high speed trains, local trains, metropolitan trains and streetcars. It has more than 45.000 units running all over the world with more than 200 different designs. The company was founded as Stone Ibérica, SA in 1963. In 2005, as a supplier of modern air-conditioning technology for rail vehicles, the company became a part of the Germany-based Knorr-Bremse Group.
